Parent Policy

Last Updated: August 3, 2026

Overview

Welcome to Mentorria's Parent Policy. As a Parent or Guardian, your involvement is crucial to creating a safe, encouraging, and highly effective environment for learning. This policy details your responsibilities, our physical/digital safety policies, and scheduling frameworks.

1. Enrollment & Verification

  • Enrollment of a minor (aged 5–18) must be completed exclusively by an adult Parent or Guardian (18+).
  • You must provide accurate learner details including school, grade, and any specific learning needs.
  • Identity verification and verified consent (such as mobile OTP verification) are required during registration to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

2. Hub Safety & Pickups

  • Drop-off / Pick-up: Learners must be dropped off and signed out only by the authorized Parent/Guardian or an individual explicitly designated on the pickup authorization list.
  • Supervision limits: Mentoria is responsible for supervision strictly during scheduled batch timings plus a standard 10-minute transition window.
  • Hub Access: Parents may drop off children at the hub lobby but are requested not to enter classrooms during active sessions to minimize disruptions.

3. Scheduling & Attendance

  • Ensure your child arrives punctually for their assigned batch.
  • Missed Classes: Scheduling conflicts must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Missed classes without notifications are not eligible for makeup or refunds.
  • slot Forfeiture: Missing 3 consecutive sessions without communication leads to slot forfeiture to allow other learners from the society waiting list.

4. Billing & Fees

  • All subscription fees must be paid through Mentorria's official platform gateway. Local Tutors are not authorized to collect fees directly.
  • Refunds: Standard refunds apply on cancellations requested within 24 hours of enrollment or subscription renewal. Review our Terms & Conditions for prorated refunds.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain a respectful and professional relationship with Local Tutors, remote Global Experts, and other parents.
  • Do not share other students' performance, photos, or details outside the community hub records.

6. Support Center
